i have tried many medicines and vicks but it doesnt seem to be helping so whats the ideal way to get rid of a stuffed nose and chesty cough??
Answer:
Relax and wait for it to go away as unfortunately there are no remedies that either reduce severity or duration.
Take plenty of fluids, appropriate doses of paracetamol and avoid quack remedies. Many of there 'cold' cures are sold as useful by so called educated pharmacists who really should know better. Others such as Vitamins, high dose vitamin C, zinc oranges, lemons, honey, soup and echinacea are just mythology.
Answer:
Eat raw garlic every day ! I swear by it. Have not had a cold all winter when all around me did. As for the smell just suck a few mints after or/and clean your teeth. Garlic helps the immune system to fight of bacteria and viruses.
Answer:
you cannot get rid of it it is a virus so it has to go it`s course, you can only relive the symptoms ideal to try is paracetamol to keep your temperature down
Answer:
Ride it out - treat a cold and it lasts a week, don't treat a cold and it lasts 7 days. All you can do it try to releive the symptoms! PAracetamol four hourly, lots of fluids and rest when you can.
Answer:
9000 mgs of Vitamin C. Split that up into three portions, one with each meal. I usually see a large difference in 1-2 days. OF course, drink plenty of fluids, sleep and eat well.
Answer:
Drink tea everday, hot, and try to inhale the smell of the hot tea..sounds werid but helps a lot..keep on taking your medicne as well as vicks..i hate it when i get a cold!
