I'm wondering whether Emu oil might be a good remedy as I’ve a very small facial wart (which I'm scheduled to have surgically removed soon). However, rather than go through that, I'm just hoping there might be something that would work, other than surgical intervention. It's close to my left eye.

Hi, there's only one real cure for warts. It is a natural one and is as easy as PURE Lemon Oil. This is a strong oil, concentrate. Don't get it in your eye or it'll hurt like hell!!
What you do is purchase the ideal product you can afford, as this will contain the most powerful lemon concentrate. Then, with an ear bud, literally coat the wart. Do this 3 times a day. Morning, noon and evening, for a few days. What you will see happen: Firstly it will begin to shrink slightly and go dry round the edges. Then tiny tiny bits flake off and within 2 or 3 weeks, it should be small or gone. Try and avoid surgery, particularly as you will retain a scar from it, on your face. DO try it as it's REALLY successful. Good luck with it! I got rid of one on my knee which no physician could banish. Also loads of people I know have also now had 100% success with this.

I’ve heard of some remedies that help, but with it being close to your eye I wouldn’t advocate any chemicals, or essential oil blends, or herbs. The chance of it affecting your eyesight is too great a risk.
I would suggest just covering it as ideal you can with foundation and concealer until the surgery.
I hope that helps.

you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!
HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It depends on the infected person's immune system. A healthy immune system means your body might be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
also you should use some herbal treatment!
in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it states that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I don’t know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should buy it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=749165
good luck!

Physicians are humans and they are natural. Knives are made from iron and steel which is natural. A physician cutting off the wart with a knife is natural.
If you've been referred by a physician for surgery, then that really is the best answer.
