i have been trying odourless garlic tablets. they’re suppose to be taken one a day but after no effect, i kept upping the dose and this day i thought i would try ten tablets. after all, you cant overdose on pure garlic can you? please help
Answer:
Herbs can take time to accomplish a desired effect and different people react differently to specific herbs. Perhaps the tablet you are taking is of a weak potency.
Certainly the ideal way to take garlic tablets is in the form that’s standardized for the main active ingredient alliin, and enteric coated to preserve the allinase enzyme which allows for a high yield of the therapeutic active product allicin:

Garlic as a supplement is one of the herbs that can result in drug-herb interactions so if you are on prescribed medication talk to your doctor or pharmacist first before taking any potent garlic supplements.

Answer:
no i don't think you can but that’s just silly. why on earth would you need to take so many? its not like medication, you won't see results probably for many weeks and/or months. It is very good for your immune system, fighting infections, and for lots of stuff… but that being stated you might not actually feel any significant difference. I recommend using real garlic though. If you don't want bad breath you can crush up a clove of garlic, slicing it up produces the healthy ingredient you need. Then you can put it in some applesauce and swallow it without chewing it. you only get the bad breath when you chew garlic.
Answer:
what effect are you waiting for??
garlic is good for the immune system, and fighting infections, or viruses
it depends on the dosage but i wouldnt say more than 3 is advised.
taking more with probably give you stomach ache and you’ll stink to high heaven because garlic comes out through your pores!
Answer:
you can't overdose as in, it's not toxic. but if you throw up, you've had too many. what effect were you going for? Curing impatience? lol.
Answer:
what effect are you looking for.garlic isn’t a narcotic.also i have never heard of a garlic overdose.
Answer:
What effect did you anticipate?
Rather than take ten (!) why don;t you use actual garlic? Or assume that garlic isn’t going to give you whatever effect you were looking for
Answer:
i think they wont do you any harm but you’ll make your self feel sick, go back and have a chat with the herbalist they’ll advise you on whats good for your problem
Answer:
ummm i dont think you can…
Answer:
What do you mean, no effect? Try and just put garlic in your diet.
