i've searched the internet looking for imformation on healing crystals but different places i have looked seem to say completely different things about the same crystals/stones as though they are making it up off the top of their heads just to sell the stones/crystals.
Does anyone know a good site (or a resonable priced book) with the trational properties of stones/crystals etc?

I quite like crystals & collect them. I have several books on them & you are right, there's so much contradiction; even though the authors are very well known, there's different views between them.
I haven't as yet found a website that I liked but I have a number of books about them.
I will tell you about each book so you can make up your mind which one you prefer:
Love is in the Earth: Melody
This book is supposed to be the authorised writer on crystals, I think crystal healing schools use her books; it's a very thick book & has info on a huge range of crystal directory.Some not so useful as they stones can't be found but some useful that you can't find anywhere else.

Crystal Bible: Judy Hall
A lot of people use this one & is very popular.It has a fairly wide range of crystals & is abit more user friendly than the above.

(PS> her other book Crystal Therapy is also good but only has advice about 9-10 crystals which is more focused on healing yourself & your chakras using those crystals, it's nice to know about chakras also, I have left a link about chakras at the end).

I trust anything by this author, the book does not have a very wide range of crystals & the descriptions are abit different, & there's a section at the back for star sign crystals, dictionary for referrral (eg stone to use for asthma etc) & some advice about using crystals in feng shui).

I think sometimes you have to trust your own guts about crystals. They have a high energy vibration & sometimes I choose them intuitively.
It's very important to cleanse the crystals as tey absorb negative energy, the simplest methos I know of is placing them in brown rice for 24 hrs.(you can still eat the rice after).

Keep your money for medicine after you've seen the Doctor. If you need healing. I find it difficult to believe a stone, even if it is made of crystal, can do any thing, let alone heal any one. Perhaps it depends on who's hands it is in and how they use it. I should keep your money, until they have actual official evidence of healing by such means.

The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall is excellent! It has wonderful pictures of the stones and lots of good information about each. I highly recommend this book!

bless you.. i cant see why people want to waste their time in telling you that these things are a waste of time and dont work. I myself have them pretty much all round my house. I love them, and they are so powerful.
I have got some from websites, but being honest, you really need to find a shop somewhere as you need to pick out the one that stands out to you. If you have any trouble, get in touch. Keep up the love for crystals.

The reason all the books say different things is because they all just make it up. They'll say anything to sell books.
Crystals do not do anything. They do NOT "heal". Not at all.
