What food and liquids will I need to drink to speed up this process?

Answer:
The best way to help your body is to eat a well balanced diet, heavy on the fruits, veggies and whole grains, and to drink plenty of fluid. Your body is designed well, and you already have built in “toxin” filters and eliminators. They are called your liver, kidneys, and colon. If you eat right and drink plenty of fluid, they have the ability to do the job nicely without your assistance. All those potions they sell for detox are nothing but high-priced laxatives. Leaching heavy metals out of the body requires chelation therapy, which uses very perilous chemicals delivered through an IV. It's only done in a hospital, under direct supervision of a doctor who knows what the heck he's doing- otherwise it can be hazardous and deadly. You’re not a walking bag of toxins here, you don't have pockets of stuff hanging out in your intestines or liver gumming up the place- at least as long as you aren't seriously constipated. Your colon contains a great many bacteria that are actually beneficial to you, if you didn't- you would already have diarrhea and wouldn’t be looking for a detox method. Save your money and purchase real food. Not fast food, not junk, and definitely not the overpriced laxative-detox preps. It's not a question of what particular food or foods, or liquids - it's a decent diet of real food that’ll do the most for your body. If you are picky about the fuel you put in the body, you don't have to worry about leaching things out. Have some faith in your own design. Humans have lived thousands of years without the need to sanitize our innards. I do believe we have the ability to safely survive another thousand or so without starting. If you really want to clean something up- try the environment. Clean the closets, the carpet, the windows- whatever. Just leave your innards alone. They know their business, and really won't appreciate the help.

Answer:
Detox is never done swiftly. It has taken years to accumulate toxines in your body. They’re deep in the cells. You can't just reverse the process in 3 or even 10 days.

A 3-day treatment will only sanitize your digestive system partly without even cleaning the intestines absolutely. It's a joke to propose a 3 day-process. Shows a total absence of knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Sudden release in the blood of toxines which have been locked in the cells for a long time can be hazardous. Your liver and kidneys need time to process them and eliminate them. You may get very sick if you try to go too fast.

Get a good book by Dr. Bernard Jensen for example:

- Guide to Diet and Detoxification

or

- Juicing Therapy

and you will go through the process safely and without anguish.

Getting ALL the toxins out of your body - i.e. including the metals (mercury, aluminium etc.) which you were injected with during vaccination and which you have breathed in with city fumes etc… involves a treatment with homeopathics and chlorella which has to be done under strict supervision as the effects can be quite frightening. You get really sick before you get clean!

Not to be tried at home alone when your parents are away :-)

All the ideal and the best of health!

Edit: To comment on The Mom's message:

Yes, we have lived for thousands of years without the need to cleanse our “innards” as stated above, but for the past 50 years or so, we've been vaccinated (horrific stuff injected in our bodies including mercury and aluminium which are the prime cause of Parkinson's and Alzheimer), fed antibiotics and other pharmaceutics, we breathe fumes from cars and factories, we eat food contaminated by pesticides, we breathe in more chemicals each time we clean our house, we’re submitted to all kinds of radiations (PC screens, mobile phones) etc.

We no longer live the clean lives which our ancestors (who didn't need detox, that's true!) lived. Let's face reality! We DO need detox. All of us! At least if we want to avoid the new popular diseases like numerous types of Cancer, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, ME, MS, etc. or pass them on with our genes in the form of Autism f. ex.

It's time to start thinking! High time!

Answer:
Forget the detox concept altogether, it was invented by constipated Edwardians who refused to eat vegetables as they were 'lower class'. At the end of last year, both the Government's Chief Medical Officer and the Government's Chief Scientific Adviser, took the time to comment that they were not worth while.

Look to the future, not he things you did in the past, which cannot be undone. Stick to a well balanced low fat diet which includes your 5 a day and take much more exercise.

Answer:
eat curry for a week

Answer:
do the master clenser. You well need lemon, cayenne peppers, myple syrup and laxative tea. Mix these together and drink for 10 days. You can read more about the benefit of this in the link below.

Answer:
Just what toxins are you trying to get rid off? Any one who advocates detox diets is a looney.

No amount of special smoothies will get rid of over consumption of bad food and alcohol. Just don't over consume bad food and too much alcohol in the first place, your body will remove this its self, it can't be sped up with special diet.

The ideal way to detox your body is to look after your liver and kidneys, it's their job to detox the body.

On the other hand, you should eat wholegrains daily, plenty of fruit and veg and drink lots of water.

Answer:
Try an ionic foot spa. It detoxes your body and all the water turns black!
