on the affected/effected (always get muddled with that word) area?

If it has an element of truth I'll never get arthritis because I've been stung rotten this afternoon whilst clearing away debris at the end of my wildlife garden. Where's the dock leaf please!

Answer:
it is a myth

Answer:
Haven't heard of that one, but have heard of the bee stings JG mentioned, my aunt who has severe RA has tried bee stings but I don't think she noticed a difference (just the pain of the stings!). My friend's mum actually does the bee stings (she's not the person who did it to may aunt though), but I don't know what evidence base there is for doing that treatment.

Answer:
Arthritis is caused by a build up of toxins in the joints. Making tea from nettles helps to flushh these toxins away and reduce the symptoms.

The ideal cure for nettle stings is the juice in the stems of nettles themselves. It is easily squeezed out and acts rapidly.

Answer:
Not heard of that one, but apparently bee stings work.
