Should there be a cure for death?
if it were possible to halt death and the effects of age, should it be done
Answer:
It could never happen because this earth is and was only ever meant to be (according to all scriptures from God) a temporary abode for all of us, and the earth is finite too.
I don't think the various senile dementias were heard of before modern medicine as we know it…..begs the question of what other diseases might be made manifest if life was prolonged beyond the life-span the western world has now. Western medicine would need to catch up in terms of finding successful treatments for senile dementias and various other old-age diseases first if life was to be prolonged further. But still senescence is inbuilt into our cells and that is as programmed by God Himself. This isn’t the Eternal abode and was never intended to be so, and God knows ideal.
Peace and ideal wishes.

There are two real questions here:
1. Is there a cure for death?
At the moment, no - and I don't think it's likely - when you did your brain rots and other things happen to you, and it doesn't seem likely for you to be able to come back to life
2. If it were possible to cease death, should it be done?
Even though it sounds cruel, no - age is natural and because of the environmental problems now when people do die, imagine it if people don't. However, in a situation where the earth was more spread out (for example, colonies on other planets) - then I do see immortality of being less of a problem.
Answer:
They're called vampires. LOL
On the over-population thing, If we could stop stupid people from breeding - it might work for a minute.
Seriously tho - It would be a good thing because we could live longer, hopefully gain more knowledge, and make great strides for humanity.
Answer:
If that was to happen the Earth would over populate.
If there was possibility for death to never happen but for reproduction to also stop, that would be magnificent.
Answer:
No!! Death is just part of life! And….don't you want to go to heaven? And, like if you’re really sick with like Cancer, would you want to suffer?
Answer:
no cure just like everyone said, not to mention the population explosion it would cause,if there were a cure it should only be given to a young dying person.any way heaven sounds great.
Answer:
but the population would be 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,Infinity
Answer:
death isn’t a disease it is a way of life. Everyone knows that we’re all going to die!
Answer:
No, what would be the point? There would always be a tomorrow so you would never get anything done!
Answer:
I don't think so, but just think we live much longer than our ancestors. Can you envision what those whose life expectancy was 40 thought about living to be 85?
Answer:
Nope, there's too many people as it is.
Answer:
There is a cure for death, it's called Jesus.
*cough*.
Answer:
yes it would be nice
