Answer:
heres a few things…
hot tea with honey in it (or even just eat a spoonfull of honey, it helps with healing)
constantly suck on something, a cough drop or something else, it keeps the saliva going and keeps your throat from getting dry
if its caused by a cold, avoid orange juice and milk products-they create more mucus.
drink lots of water, it helps clear out your system
drink apple cider vinegar, it helps kill germs
gargle with warm salt water
hope these help, take care!
Answer:
85% of all sore throats are viral in origin and thus nothing alters their duration. Statistically even if you include bacterial sore throats in the equation, antibiotics on average only reduce the duration of symptoms by 24 hours. The best bet therefore in most ases is to take paracetamol and plenty of fluids and wait til it goes away. To reduce syptoms anti-inflammatory throat sprays such as Diflam and Chloraseptic may help, but don’t use salt or aspirin which is irritant.
Oranges, lemons, honey, ginger, soup, vitamins, including high dose vitamin C, garlic and echinacea have no effect.
