Brace Trouble. ?

My Flexible metal wire broke and it stuck right into my gum ripping it like paper. We phoned for an emergency orthodontist but we couldn't get hold the flexible wire was sticking in my gum so my older sister cut it off. Will the orthodontist be annoyed the actual brace isn’t broken its just the flexible wire which my sister cut of .

No but you might lose some time of your treatment. If a wire breaks and cuts into your gum or inside your cheek you can put dental wax on it (ask for some at your next app) or in worst case put a wad of sugar-free gum on it temporarily and then go to the dentist.

they’ll just fix your brace and give you a neww wire but try an get an appointment as soon as possible!
