I want to get my teeth sorted out. they are not in terrible condition or anything but i have a cosmetic problem with some teeth (i dont know what the teeth are called, they’re the teeth either side of the front 2 teeth) they overlap my front 2 teeth slightly.

any idea how much this would cost tofix, and what they would do? would they have to give me a brace?

Answer:
Hi claire,i need braces too so your not alone. We are both too old for NHS treatment.I went to see a private dentist last year and he told me i could have the invisalign braces (Invisable) but the total cost of the treatment will be £4000 and i must pay £1,300 before they start treatment then i can pay monthly amounts. So basically i can’t get my teeth fixed until i save up a grand and a half.Which sucks big time. You could go see a private dentist and get an estimate like i did,but be warmed they will probably want allot of money up frot before they carry out and treatment.

best bet is to go to your ortho to see! or to your dentist who can refer you. you never know what they might offter, so go and see what they have to state. don't get put off if they say you'll need braces, remember that its only going to be for a couple of years MAXIMUM and that it will benefit you for the rest of your life :) good luck

Did you know that 89% of yahoo answerers are Dentists? Get real, and go see one.
