I’ve a dentist appointment this week and can only afford the sixteen pounds consultation fee. I'm worried i need a filling but cant pay it this month. Can i ask the dentist if i can make another appointment for the filling next month when i have the funds or have the work done and pay for it at a later date? UK
Answer:
Just tell your dentist what you've written down here - he'll comprehend fully, happens all the time - especailly these days
Answer:
Find out how serious the decay is on the tooth that you think needs a filling during the consultation. Sometime it isn't good to wait if the decay is at the nerve. Otherwise, be honest with the dentist about your financial condition. He might be willing to work with you on payment. Or he may concur that a delay would be no large deal.
Answer:
Off course as long as you make a latter appointment because the receptionist are usually really pushy and you do not have to tell them that just call them and ask if you can make and appointment later it is fine
Answer:
SURE THEY'D BE GRATEFUL AS SO WILL YOU
Answer:
No-one can force treatment on you.
