Answer:
Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 20 years. The reason for the pain is the jaw has no room for the growing teeth. This becomes a bone on bone pain and it can make your teeth, jaw, ears, head hurt. Some people even get migraine like pain. Please see a dentist and get xrays done to determine what exactly is going on. Only then can you know what the best course of treatment is. Removing wisdom teeth is very common, relatively painless if you follow all the post-op instructions and take pain relief as needed. Once it is over, in a few days it just a memory. Please do this, you do not need to suffer and there’s no reason this day, to wait. The sooner you have them removed the superior, as younger people recover very swiftly and the pain is GONE!!! Good luck, if you have any questions, please ask. Marie D~
Answer:
Wisdom teeth are known for that and that’s why dentists and oral surgeons suggest and even advise you to get them out. You should schedule a dentist appointment so the doctor can look at it. However, if you do need them out, ask your dentist if he/she can refer you to an oral surgeon. I got mine taken out by an oral surgeon and it was a successful procedure. Your dentist might even be able to give you some type of medicine to subside the pain in the meantime because appointments for wisdom teeth may take a while. Also, you should ask them any other questions you might have about it.
Answer:
It's probably an abscess! Meaning it could be puttin pressure on your pulp (the nerve endings) that's why its radiating to your head. Worth getting checked out, hun. Don't use the pliers, whatever you do!
Answer:
Wisdom teeth are so unpredictable. They either lay dormant with no trouble or can nudge every so often and then settle again. If there is constant pain then you need a dentist. Yes it will send shooting pains to yr head but if it continues, make an appointment.
Answer:
It's probably infected because wisdom teeth tend to lie quite low on the gum and collect bits of food that then decays.
See your dentist asap. In the meantime try a mouthwash of strong warm salt solution.
