I've had tooth pain for 2 days i looked in the mirror and i've got an extra tooth growing at the back is that normal? I thought you stopped growing teeth aged 4!

Answer:
Most likely you are getting the wisdom teeth.

The age range of getting those is 17 - 21, but there are people who got those at the age of 40 !

Answer:
Teeth movement occurs all your life.. Hence those teeth in the back as you described are probably your wisdom teeth coming in which.<<< are the only teeth in the mouth that takes your whole life of moving. Sometimes they hide in the back but if a tooth is removed at sometime in your life or they want to come out they will push your other teeth away ... problem with wisdom teeth is that they want to come out in most people but leave no room for other teeth thats why most people get them removed cuz when they try to come out they cause serious gingivitis and tooth cavities << hence why you probably have bad tooth pains << or cavities forming from it.. Its normal whats occurring ... its how you want to deal with it thats the real question.. I say get em pulled i got mine and im sure id be miserable this day if i didnt.

Answer:
It is mostlikely your wisdom teeth, they ususally show up anytime between 16-21 but it can vary for many people. Thankfully I’ve never had to experience this, the teeth just werent there for me. Atleast thats what the dentist stated my xrays showed, anywho you will definitely want to get them checked out to make sure they do not need to be removed. Most people do need them removed.

oh teeth dont stop growing at 4, you usually dont get your second set of teeth until your between 5-10, then your 12 year old molars and then wisdom teeth.

Answer:
In adult hood you can grow wisdom teeth at the back of your gums,
It can be quite painful like a dull ache and you my find after a while
a flap of skin “gum” will stick up, i've got 3 wisdom teeth coming in
not pleasent……

you may need them removed if yor mouth is too small for more teeth
you’ll probably be ok though.

Answer:
You could have had a baby tooth extracted too early which pushed every tooth together and a tooth that had been impacted is now trying to erupt. Or you could have reached your final growth phase and a wisdom tooth is trying to erupt. wisdom teeth usually erupt 16 to 18 years.

There is a good possibility that they’re your wisdom teeth. If you have had them removed, I would advocate making a visit to your dentist's office.
