What is the best tooth paste, for whitening your teeth? and has any tried the pearl drops paint on white?

I use Colgate toothpaste (any that says it whitens), but I don't believe any of them make your teeth really really white.

I bought the Pearl Drop thing last week but I'm not so convinced!
It is kind of glittery - I think this is meant to reflect light off your teeth to make them look sparkly, but the effect I really wanted was just to have normal, white looking teeth I was hoping it would be more like tip ex?
It also feels really rough and grainy, and when I tried brushing it off, lots of it stayed on, which looked really silly!

I wouldn't advocate it to be honest.

My dentist recommends only using Jenina whitening toothpaste and doesn't rate any other brand you can buy from a chemist.

ive tried the paint on pearl drops, but it doesnt really work-just makes your teeth shiny. dont really think any of them really make a large difference, sorry!
