im 14, turning 15 in 4 months. i weigh 137-140. i am about 5'1-5'2. its nearly bikini season and i have extra flab in my belly. i exercise AT LEAST once a week maybe 2-3 times a week. i do eat a lot of junk food with my friends. but i eat healthy enough i think. i want to know, am i overweight???? and how many calories should i take in every day to lose 30 pounds in the next 2 months or less????
i know it sounds intense but i NEED to do it. i don't care about health conditions unless they are really serious, and i mean like reeeeaaaalllyyyy serious. so just tell me how to do this WITHOUT:
-just exercise & good diet.(because no matter what, i will do that in addition)
-buying acai berry on the internet
-or any other weight loss product that gets delivered to my home.
-getting a prescription

also, any suggestions with over-the-counter pills?

PLEASE help me<3

Answer:
I advise you not to do anything as drastic as taking in 500 calories a day. You'll be one of those “fat skinny” girls. You'll be losing all muscle and you'll be flabbier than where you started. I know it sucks for people to tell you that it isn't possible, so I think you should at least try. (: Intake a normal amount of calories and eat regularly that way you lose fat weight and not muscle weight.
If you keep on a healthy diet and exercise regularly, you can lose up to a pound a day. I did it, at least. You can email me if you want my food diary.
You don't have to exercise forever to lose that much weight either. Just run around for 45 minutes on and off, and remember to intake a lot of water. All that matters for exercise is that your heart rate goes up.

I had way too many pounds in all the wrong places until I used acai berry, I know they say that pills don't work, but they certainly worked for me, and they've been shown on CNN too. There's a free trial on currently at http://cugams.nuntanoastra.net , why not check it out, how worse could it make things?

i don't suggest you starve yourself because as soon as you eat again your metabolism will be ruined and you might gain even more weight.

there’s really, honestly, not much else you can do.

i'd advocate slicing your calories down to 700 or 800 (still not enough but you said it didn't matter if it wasn't healthy).
try exercising twice every day for at least 30-45 minutes.
eat totally NO junk food, or fast food, or packaged sugary food.
don't eat any food three hours before going to bed.
do 100 crunches each night, and drink lots and lots of water. (1 bottle each three hours)

unfortunately, you can't just snap your fingers and lose weight.
then everyone would just be thin.
it takes hard work. i hope you're up to it.

Answer:
Calorie intake varies on how much physical activity you do.
Look up “bmi calculator” in google, there you'll be able to put in ur info to see where you are bmi wise (makes sense)
That's excellent that you don't consider starving yourself as it puts your body into fat-preservation mode and you end up getting even MORE fat when you do start eating.
Try low carb protein. there are protein mixes for every situation including weight loss. half a pound a day is pretty drastic for this but yeah. stay away from bad carbohydrates, fats, sugars as they tire you out and you get less physical activity done.
after every work out take a leisurely stroll to relax your muscles which increases fat burning.
keeping as cool an internal temp. as you can is key while working out as it also increases fat burning. warm ups and cool down excercises (machine rowing or other things you can find on google) are good for the body.
Don't work out more than 4 times a week (every other day) as it cancels the effects of your previous work out. known as “over excercising”
that's all I know about weight loss. good luck and keep in mind, some guys like chicks with curves.

Answer:
I think if you lost that much weight you would be too skinny. I think 20-25 lbs would be better. I don't think that would be safe losing in two months though. I think they state safe weight loss is 2lbs per week. Thats 8 lbs a month. Its okay to set that goal to eventually lose 25 lbs but keep in mind that once you lose about 8-10 it will make a HUGE difference so the last few extra lbs won't be so noticeable anyway.

Answer:
I calculated your bmi using the highest weight you gave, and lowest height, and it came up with 26.5.

I did the same with lowest weight and highest height, and it came up with 25.1

24.9 is the top end of healthy, and 18.5 is the bottom end.

There's only one way to lose 30 lbs in 2 months, and that's to severely cut your intake. I probs shouldn't advocate this but just don't take it too far.. I got very ill in the end because I took it too far, past what I wanted to lose to. But I just didn't eat anything that wasn't a liquid. I let myself have soups that were low in fat occasionally, like each few days. I had 5 teaspoons of fat free yogurt maybe once a day or each other day. I had cup-a-soups, but only the cheaper brands like Tesco “light choices” range that're 55-65 calories depending on flavour. I had a glass of warm milk at night which I was able to look forward to, but only half a glass/mug. & if I was feeling really ill in the day time I had an instant hot chocolate, the kind that're like 35-40 calories, such as the Cadburys individual sachets. The rest of the day I was having just diet coke and fruit squash. Never full fat fizzy drinks, limit juices and smoothies to a minimum [maybe half a glass if you do want some], use tea/coffee sparingly, as well as milk.

You'll get the 30 lbs off well before summer but you will be very tired and you have to stay focussed.

I lost about 12 lbs in my first week alone, but after that it slows down. I was eventually losing about 0.5 lbs to a lb a day. Which means you'll lose it in 3-5 weeks if you did this. You’ve to make yourself exercise no matter how fatigued you’re. Be careful.
