just generally ill? people state you shouldn't exercise when your ill as your body needs the energy to fix and heal itself, i'm exercising anyway because i feel like a failure if i don't (thanks to eating disorder)
but its a silly question i know but was just wondering

I believe it would, because your immune system is using a lot of energy to heal itself. That's one of the reasons why you get so exhausted when you're sick.
If you take it easy, you'll get superior a tiny faster. If you must work out, take it easy and drink extra water. You will typically be dehydrated while you're sick.

COME ON, these are cells and molecules and particles slightly more massive than ATOMS. seriously, do u think their movement will do much? it takes 100 calories to run 10 minutes, with ur legs, which are well a trillion times bigger than cells. so technically no, u do not burn more calories when u are sick, sorry.
