Well I’ve decided that I'm going to ask a couple of friends (that are ALWAYS complaining about their weight) if they are interested in starting a exercise group, if they state yes then we'll probably get together maybe 3 or 4 times a week (if our parents let us lol) after school and on weekends and maybe go for a jog or something and I'm going to start going to my local pool and swimming laps on weekends and I'll probably do exercises outside in my garden or in my bed room like push ups and sit ups for 30 mins a few times a week. And I'm also going to halt eating as much junk food, I'll eat junk food in small portions once in a while but not like HEAPS. Any tips or something?

Answer:
The best thing to do is try to cut out junk food totally during the week, but have a splurge day once a week where you can eat something you’re craving. A healthy diet is extremely important for weight loss. It makes up 80% of weight loss while exercise makes up only 20%. Eat healthy foods like whole wheat products, chicken, turkey, fruits, veggies, salmon, tuna, low fat cottage cheese, fat free milk, etc.. Try to get in 30 minutes of cardio (running, elliptical, bike, hiking, etc..) 3 or 4 times a week.

Do lots of research about eating healthy and exercising. If you look at a bunch of health articles you’ll be able to learn a lot. You could buy workout tapes like boxing, aerobics, or something else.

Its great to begin an exercises group but they can become out of control and obsessive and lead to distorted thinking and eating. Do NOT share numbers like weight or body measurements or even clothes sizes.
Its good to limit junk food but don't completely cut out because your body will crave it more, making it harder to get in shape and if you absolutely cut out your fat your body will go into starvation mode, because the body needs fat to function properly.

cool plan but seems a lot to start with
just do one or two of the things you’ve planned then a few weeks after do the others and keep swapping them so you dont get bored and give up on the routine
good luck
keep me informed how you are doing as im starting something similair myself but havent got the mates to join in (too busy or not interested) so im going solo

This sounds like a great idea! exercising with friends means you won't get bored, and you'll be able to think up new ideas together. I know for myself, exercising alone gets so boring!
You could all join a gym and go together, but if your looking for free activities, cycling is always fun. Also, it can be good fun to buy a cheesy exercise dvd, like aerobics etc. its free once youve purchased it, good exercise and a great laugh!
,good luck!!
