I have watched both series of Supersize vs Superskinny on Channel 4 and have purchased the book they advertise.

Reading the book is very inspriring, as it is all about you building a healthly eating lifestyle based on the portions sizes of Carbs, Protein, Fruit/Veg, Dairy and Fats.

The only thing with the plan is that the suggested portion sizes seem so much and I wondered whether other people have taken the plunge followed the book with the portion sizes and got weight loss results.

From what i've seen of the program i'd state that it probably one of the better diets to follow as it is based on true healthy eating. As to the portion sizes I'm not sure but I do know that it is no good starving yourself to try and lose weight as your body only goes into starvation mode and slows down your metabolism. So sometimes eating more for breakfast for example can often make you lose weight as it kick starts your metabolism for the rest of the day. I always get hungry earlier than usual at lunch time when i've eaten breakfast, and after being a serial non-breakfast eater when I started I lost weight (which I didn't appreciate as I don't want to lose weight!). Hope this helps
