I’ve bran-flakes every morning for breakfast, topped with chopped banana and soy milk ( nice and healthy) and I love it. But i was wondering would it be a healthier option to swap my main meal (dinner) at the end of the day for branflakes, this would mean having 2 bowls of it a day, would it help me loose weight at all?
Answer:
Nooo!!
Carry on having the healthy bran flakes as your morning breakfast.
Do NOT swap your main meal for this aswell.
Your body needs nutrients and protein that comes from your everyday dinner.
You should make your meals smaller but still have dinners.
Many people think that skipping meals or replacing them is healthy and will help them to loose weight - WRONG! Skipping or replacing will only make your bodys natural way of dealing with itself slower, therefore will take much more time to loose weight.

Thanks for picking me as best answerer.
Yes, just carry on as normal don’t swap, just cut down slightly if you feel its to much.
Answer:
No, there’s totally no need to do that. It would be very boring for you, thus increasing the risk of binges and eating unhealthily, and you wont fulfill all your nutritional needs.
Have some lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish etc) with non-starchy vegetables for your evening meal. That’s low in calories and much, much healthier than living off bran flakes.

i would suggest eating your dinner as usual but make sure it is healthy … i wouldn't swap …
This way you’re getting all your vitamins and minerals that you need out of your veg etc … and carbohydrates etc from your dinner but you still get the goodness out of your cereal in the morning. ..
