How many calories a day?

Author: admin

As a 15 year old female looking to lose a bit of weight, how many calories would you recommend I burn daily through exercise?

I've just been on a four mile run so that's burned off quite a few calories already…

Answer:
There's not a set number you “should” burn. However, if you consume 500 fewer calories a day than you burn, you can lose 1 lb in a week.

Consider what you eat daily (keep your calories above 1200 a day). If you’re a healthy eater, you might need to burn more calories to have any weight loss. If you keep your calories fairly low, then you won't have to exercise as much to see weight loss.

See the source link. It has a calories burned calculator so you can get a rough idea of how many calories you burn doing various activities. If you click on the “daily calorie needs” link on the left, that’ll tell you how many calories you need to consume, based on your current size and activity level, to lose or maintain your weight.

Answer:
to lose weight I think that you have to burn more than you get. The recommended amount of exercise is 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Remember that just by walking and doing basic things, so these add up to how much you burn a day.

Answer:
eat 2100 a day and burn 1000 and you loose weight in no time and its good for you. if you loose too many and dont eat enough its really bad for you (:
