i exercise on the stepper from side to side machine for a half hour everyday.

this day is my fourth day in a row, i don't want to do too much as i dont want to give up, i kinda dont want myself to feel like my lifestyle is changing much or that i'm “dieting” id prefer it to be healthy eating otherwise il consider it all the time which will make me give up.

So half hour each day is good to star off with, i am burning 250 cals so far but plan to speed things up when im able to.

i bought a dress for a wedding that’s 4 sizes too small, i bought it on purpose as my goal, i am a size 14 trying to get to a 10 and i am 154 pounds which is nearly 11stone.

Any experts out there that can help with my goal?

I want to know its possible and that maybe i dont have to do it each day because i really dont want to give up.

2 pounds a week is the most healthy rate to loose weight. In three months if you can maintain at least that you can loose about 24 pounds. Depending where you loose your weight first you could do it, but you need more determination and you'll possibly need to loose 3 pounds in some weeks. You need aerobic exercise at least 45 minutes a day plus another 15 min at least of strength training a day at least 3 times a week. You also need to cut your fat and calories from what you eat. The less you eat the more you burn during a workout. If you are only burning 250 cals in a workout, it's absolutely negated if you’ve ice cream later or a candy bar. Eat lots of veggies and fruits and eat something each two hours to keep your metabolism burning all day. I recomend non-fat yogurt between breakfast and lunch and a veggie snack, possibly with peanut butter, between lunch and dinner. Also drink at least 64 oz of water a day, 96 oz if you can, that’ll keep you from retaining water (which is typically 2 pounds itself) and help flush out your system and keep you feeling energetic.

Buying a dress 4 sizes too small to force yourself to lose weight isn't a very good idea… but I guess you can try small stuff like substituting breakfast and lunch with the “Special K challenge” or drinking some Slimfast. Keep up the exercise. Don't forget you'll gain some muscle, too.

you could MOST DEFINATELY go down to about a 10, i know my friend did it in abut a month, but that was being on the atkins diet. she was VERY VERY strict about it, and you cna do it if you try really hard!

It is possible but unfortunately for you i dont think you will do it on 30mins of stepper everyday.

Also, if you want to lose then you’ll have to realise that it will not be simple. You’ll have to put in time and effort to avoid disappointment. If it was that simple then the majority f the population would be size 0!!! lol

Stepper machines use the biggest muscles in your body. By using this machine each day you will stimulate these muscles to grow as with any exercise. So, as a toner once or twice a week then fab but not every day!!

You’re better off for example:

Day 1 - Power walk / jog 30-45 mins core exercises

DAy 2 - Stepper Shoulder presses with tins (keeps definition shape)

Day 3 - Power walk / jog 30-445mins core exercises

repeat this cycle

You will have to watch what you are eating aswell.

Cut out carbohydrates after 6pm (potatos, rice, pasta, bread) This will encourage your body to burn fat as energy through the night and not your food. If you eat close to bed time your body wll not be able to burn the carbs as energy and will convert to fat.

Plenty of water.

Eat protein (lean meat/cottage cheese) with every meal where possible to halt hunger and keep metabolism steady.

Hmm… I’m not sure about dress sizes but it is possible to lost a set amount of weight in 3 months. Hell I lost 75 Pounds this summer alone if just counting weight lost. As advice from how I did it, I run each day for 2 miles at the local Gym, I’m eating right, eating less portions, eating more meals. I try and eat 3 meals with 2 light snacks, fruits tend to help burn more then sugars. The main secret I can tell you is to remain constant or else it will never bare fruit.
