Usually on running machines, i don't go at a fast pace so im not sure what it is? Could it be my trainers?

Any suggestions/help is great!

Thanks

Answer:
Happens a lot on Elliptical type machines. When using these machines the foot is in constant contact with the foot plate. During normal exercise the foot lifts and releases increasing circulation and bloodflow. With ellipticals its a similar feeling to normal pins and needles e.g when you fall asleep on your arm or sit on a hard seat too long. If you get them on the treadmill its more likely that your trainers are too tight or the wrong type and are restricting the blood flow causing the pins and needles sensation. Commonly people who arent used to exercise tie them too tight at the tops or wear thick socks. Remember when you start exercising your feet will swell inside the shoes so even if they fell slack when you begin they might still restrict the blood flow when you have been exercising.

Hope that helps

Answer:
put it on a level6 or 7 for 20 min. work ur way up even if it hurts

Answer:
i have this too. i figured ot that it was the soles of my shoes and the bottom of the treadmill/eliptical

of this is not the case, could be that youre tying your shoes too tightly..

blood may not be able to get through

OR blood may be rushing to your feet

and you get that feeling you experience when youve been lying on your hand for a long time and you get up. pins and needles from the blood rushing to your hand, expanding all the capillaries, etc.

Answer:
Maybe your shoes are laced up to tight??? A lot of people have their feet fall asleep on an elliptical trainer, but I haven't heard of that happening on a treadmill. Try loosening your shoes and see if that helps!

Answer:
I get tht but i dont know what it is either.

Answer:
If you have trainers who are putting pins and needles in your feet as you are trying to work out I'd leave that gym but fast.

Who else is around when you experience these pin and needles…..I mean if the trainers are right there with you they are doing the pins and needles….

Girl …Do they put a blind fold on you or something?

It's hard enough to work out with out having to work with sadists.

Answer:
Does it happen on other machines? If so it may be a circulation problem so a visit to the GP may be advisable. If your trainers and tight or old then these could be the problem.

When replacing them make sure you get ones with good cushioning and support.
