they are a belt that you strap to your ankles with sand inside. there are loads on the market, avon, asda etc have them. check out the link below will show you what they look like

They are weights that go around your ankles, they are usually filled with sand or gel and have a velcro fastening. Good idea if you are walking or using weight machines….but don't use them if you are jogging or running….the extra weight is not good for your knees, ankles or other leg joints.
