id state 8-10 is thin, 12 is average or something right?
but what about 14
what do you think?
Answer:
I'm a size 12 and my physician has me listed as obese. I'm not impressed. I'd state being fat is when you wobble when you walk.
Answer:
Industry standard sizing is not a good source on whether or not your size is “fat”. However, according to most fashion designers (which is the desired norm since the 60's and 70's), anything above a 6 at 5' or 152cm's is “large” (excluding genetic predispositions). Anything above an 8 at 5'7″ or 170cm's is large also. Some hints on whether or not your size is above average: 1. Is it difficult to find your size at trendy shops? 2. Do you find yourself at specialty shops, ones that cater to plus sizes? Do you notice people of your similiar shape and size or people larger, shopping there too? 3. Do you tend to over-lap standard sitting chairs? (meaning, can you see atleast 50% of the seat edges of the chair itself, while looking at the outsides of each of your thighs (most restuarants are a good model of having standard chairs)?
Women's sizes 4-6 has always been the average. Since more and more people are overweight these days, the “average” is no longer the “ideal human average” but more of the “average size of what’s out there alive today”. 14 is definitely not an best size or a size worth setting a goal for (unless you are coming down from a size 15 or 16 ).
You basically know what condition that you are in; you essentially know what’s good for you and what’s not; and you DO know what you should be doing about it. So get started so that you won't ever have to wonder or worry about what a “fat” size is. Use these parameters to just get yourself feeling good about who you are. Like I said, industry standard sizing is not a good source of whether or not your size is “fat”. How you feel is still much more important, with or without clothes!
Answer:
Anything over the average weight for your height and frame size is fat and anything under the average weight for your height and frame size is thin. See this page for an average weight chart.

in clothes sizes, 8-10 is considered thin, 12-14 considered average and 16-18 massive, over that’s fat.
Answer:
Do they’ve plus sizes in the UK? in the US, 8-12 is average, then 16 is plus sized, and sizes 18-20 or so, you could be called fat. Some people are just tall and muscular, though, so they're not all fat.
In the UK, I guess I'd say the same, that sizes 20 and up are probably for heavy people.
Answer:
i think that it depends on the person and their body shape. is
I mean a girl that is 5'10″ and size 14 isn’t going to look nearly as bis as a girl that is 5'4″ and a size 14.
I mean some one who is 5'2″ and a size 8 is going to appear a lot larger then a girl who is taller and a size 8.
So…what i think is that it is all relative!
Answer:
None of this is relevant. A girl can be a size 8 but be all flab with no muscle tone or a girl could be a size 14 and be lean and toned. You have to take into account factors such as height, frame size, muscle/fat ratio and body fat distribution.
Answer:
I don't think it matters so much with clothes size but how you carry it off - I have a cousin who is a size 14 but she doesn't look fat. It is hard to say unless you can actually see what the person looks like
Answer:
I would state size 16.. because you have to be overweight to be that size dont you.. so yeah. Im a size six.. i dont really think size matters too much.. people could state i were too thin.. but its just the way you are built i guess
Answer:
I'd state about size 18 or more would be “fat” but it depends on the bone structure and where they carry the weight.
Its different with different people, but when they look unhealthily massive.
Answer:
It completely depends on the person. Someone once told me Marolyn Monroe (sorry about spelling) was a size 14, i wouldn't class her as fat. I guess it depends on height and were each person carry's their fat
Answer:
you can't judge by clothes size-it's height and weight and body fat combined.don't feel bad if you wear a size 14 if you are over 1'65
Answer:
fat is fat ,meaning flabby
some people are naturally just big while some are small but flabby = fat
depends but i would state over a 16 is fat mostly
Answer:
Other factors need consideration, height being a main one.I personally like curved shapely women as apposed to stick insects that are paraded as models.
Answer:
Size doesn't really matter. It all depends on the person themselves and how tall/short they are etc. I don't really think it's appropriate to judge someones clothes size
Answer:
14 and over is fat to me. The average UK woman might be size 14, but then UK has a major obesity problem.
Answer:
i wouldnt state anyone size is fat, it is perfectly natural to have diff body sizes whatever they might be…
Answer:
14 is slightly thick. But does it matter? as long as ur happy? but come to think of it, if your healthy and fit then its okay too.
Answer:
Some people look really good with a bit of weight on them and curves, but i would state maybe a size 18.
xxxxxxx
Answer:
10 is huge,14 is ridiculous and 20 means you’ve your own orbit
Answer:
I'd state a size 14 is curvy not fat. Size 18 would probably be classed as fat.
Answer:
Anything over a 12 should be shot
Answer:
