I think swimming and boxing excercises are key but not sure what everyone else thinks.

Every body is different. The key with exercise is that you want to do it on most days of the week and you want to engage in an exercise that raises your heart rate enough so that carrying on a conversation is difficult.

But equal to cardio is strength-training. You need to have that muscle in order to perform the exercise and muscle burns more calories than fit which will keep you trimmer in the long run.

Aside from that, the most effective cardio is HIIT (high-intensity interval training). HIIT is basically alternating between maximum-intensity exercise with low/medium-intensity in intervals of state 30 seconds maximum/60 seconds of low/medium. You can do this running, biking, elliptical, almost anything you can think of except treadmill.

Any cardio excercise that gets your heart rate pumping is excellent, personally I like cross training, as you get the benefits of running but without the high impact wear and tear, but that's down to personal choice. if you want to seriously sweat in a short amount of time, try doing high intensity interval training on the stairmaster. basically, you alternate between 1 minute fast climbing with 1 or 2 minutes slow recovery for 20 to 30 minutes. everyone ignores this machine but i think it's the most effective for burning fat pretty quickly. it's also great for toning thighs/glutes.

i run hard for 45 mins per day on a treadmill in a gym for maximum sweat out……..and also do sit ups with ab-master and press ups wide and short hand,

personally i would have to state the most simplest, running! even 30 minutes a day is enough to help you lose weight and cycling is great too, its practical aswell as cardio exercise
