I have spoken to My McMillan nurse and not sure she is giving me th correct information.

DLA and Incap benefit no longer automatically qualifies you for free treatment, but you can at least apply if you are not working or on a low income. Get an HC1 form from benefits office or pharmacy.

Yes you can . Hope my answer helps.

Thought everyone who was receiving benefits was entitled to help with these charges?

If you have to pay for prescriptions, you have to pay for your glasses too and everybody can get help with dental treatment. Google NHS dental charges.
