Does anybody know a treatment ova than doping up on PK's before i do anything.

Thanks

Answer:
Try doing something to help the muscles in your calf relax. The increased tension in those muscles reduce the shock absorbtion with each footfall, so causing the forces to be transmitted up through the muscle and tendinous insertions to the bone. thus results the painof shin splints, as the periosteum is pulled from the bone. Deep massage, and then cold packs to the legs below the knee.

And get better shoes that absorb the shock of heel strike too.

Answer:
this always works for me..

apply pressure just below the knee, use ice packs where the pain hurts the most. GOOD LUCK, GET BETTER SOON!!

Answer:
When I got shin splints a couple weeks ago, I wrapped my legs below my knees with ace bandages and that helped a LOT. My legs were better in about two days. You could also try ice packs or hot water over your legs. And do a lot of stretches!
