Hi I’ve a small lump on the left side of my neck. Its sort of midway between my collar bone and my ear. I dont know how long its been there, but its sore now. Its not very big but is noticeable if you look at my neck. I smoke and drink, so Im wondering if its cancer? If not what else could it be?
Answer:
Could just be a swollen gland but Doctor would be able to tell you for definite.

25 years ago 1 in 4 people (25%) contracted cancer in their life, today it's 2 in 5 (40%) nitrates in water are the main cause, immediate medical attention is imperative, a friend has had mouth cancer return twice (needed a flap to repair it) and the other has matter oozing out of either side of his neck, can only drink cuppa soup from a straw, and hardly talk and is dependant on morphine tablets and spray to relive the pain, he may see the month out! both still insist on smoking like troupers, and ignore all warnings, you decide which path to pursue.
the chinese have very powerfully anti cancer and anti tumour drugs in their traditional medications, (far superior than those available in the UK) try them now! kongai i san and dong ling tsao.

I would go immediately to a doctor. You probably have a swollen gland from an infection and need an antibiotic. If it is not a swollen gland the physician can determine its origin and treatment.I hope this scares you into quiting smoking another treatment the physician can prescribe. It might be a cyst as well.In either circumstance get to a doctor or the ER.It might be an early warning sign and you’ve allot of years ahead of you so get treatment.I work in the medical field and there is no time to waste.Good luck and keep in touch.

Got o the doctor. There isn't really much more we have the ability to state. It's better to know one way or another.
I’ve had a lump on the back on my neck for about four years now. It's right up just above the begin of my hair line. It's about the size of a pea. It scared the aboslute crap out of me when I first found it but I had an ultra sound and its nothing - just a cyst. When I leave it alone it pretty much goes away but when I poke and prod it it seems to stick out more. If I touched it constantly it would probably injured too.
Answer:
Those symptoms can match literally dozens of diseases. There is always the danger of matching your symptoms to the disease when you have the disease on your mind. Please, don't self-diagnose or let anyone here (including me) diagnose your problem. Those things will just freak you even more! Go to a real doctor and I betcha you come out of the doc's office smiling!
Answer:
