My BMI is 43. Ive spoken in length to the Surgeon who strongly believes that once your bmi gets above 40 trying to lose weight, and maintain it, is futile. Tell me what u think.

Answer:
My BMI was over 40, too. I concur with your surgeon. I couldn’t see myself able to lose weight at that point. Surgery became my only option. Your mileage may vary.

Answer:
you know a lot of people have a lot to say about it ,but me i think if you need it to be healthier then go for it and look good while doing it. but if your doing it just to make the world happy then don't just tell them to leave you alone and kiss your butt. losing weight for any one is very hard for anyone. it is heart breaking when you try for mouths and lose a pound and gain ten. if you’re healthy at your weight but are not happy do what your heart tell you.lot of people will judge you no matter what you do .tell them to bit you good luck and remember your perfect just the way you’re

Answer:
i would go for the lap belt instead of gastric bypass..with bypass you can gain the weight back

Answer:
