I got it done last saturday , and it bled all day on the sunday, after that it pretty much was painless until yesterday morning, it's now sligthy red around the top ball and not agony, but very sensitive to touch… (not with hands obviously).. there’s a slight white crust around it , but it's not heavy ,smelly puss, it just looks like crusted salt really, but i was sure to clean it all off.
I clean my piercing once at night and once in the morning, and i put savlon cream on it on friday because i was staying at a friends house.
Answer:
This sounds like what mine did! it seems pretty normal! as long as the pus isnt a greeny colour and its hot not to touch you should be fine! that would indicate infection!
just make sure you clean it regularly, i advocate just salt and water its much more effective, i found that using savlon just clogged it up a bit !
move the bar up and down too to make sure no gunk is left on the bar and inside the actual piercing!
just keep doing that for a while and it will clear up!
belly button piercings are one of the harder to heal mine took months but it was worth it, i love it (not so much now being 35 weeks pregnant lol)
good luck and persevere its worth it!
Answer:
What is Savlon Cream??? Mine never bled at all, but it injured and had puss and all, but Everyone told me not to use peroxide or antibacterial ointment, but my physician told me to and that was the only thing that healed it.
By antibacterial ointment I mean neosporin
Answer:
Yes. But just leave it alone and try to forget out it. It's tempting to want to fiddle with it when first done. Let the gunk dry up and then clean away the crust.
Answer:
yeahh its normal.
try not to touch it too much and clean it a few times a day with salt water and it should heal fine.
Answer:
