Old frekle trick.. does it work??

i have heard of a trick that if you rub lemons on freckles, they eventually disappear.. is that true?? =] thanks

I think it probably comes from the fact that lemon acts a bit like bleach and takes colour out of things. But I doubt very much it works on skin
