just wondering if racing pigeons need much rest after been vaccinated, and what way are they affected (if any) by it?
THANKS ALL
Answer:
All vaccine introduces a whole or part of a foreign protein into any animal.
These proteins or parts provoke an immune response in the body of the animal.
To varying degrees:
Fever and Malaise occur in the first 24 to 48 hours.
The only precaution that would universally apply is defer demanding physical activity-
don't take them somewhere to race or home.
Water and feed them, and leave them in their coops for 72 hours.
