yes it is real gold….often you will find 14 carat if the jewellery is bought abroad. and as somebody else said….14 carat is superior quality & purer in gold content than 9 carat. i would never wear 9 carat gold….cheap & nasty!!

Answer:
It depends. Most fashion/costume jewelry is not real gold, or it's plated, meaning it is silver or another metal underneath with a film of real gold over top. If it says14k, it's solid gold, and a fairly good quality at that.

Answer:
if its 14 carat and hallmarked, its probably victorian but it could be european if it is modern. but if it is hallmarked, it's gold sure enough and worth more than 9 carat.

Answer:
14ct gold is gold mixed with other metals to make it hard
as gold is really soft on its own.
yes it is real gold

Answer:
Gold comes in a few different purity levels:
Most common is 14 kt gold cheapest
Next is 18kt gold better
Next is 22k gold
Next is 24k gold bestest
