Hi.
for a while now (maybe several months) i have experienced at random times a sudden faintness alleviated by eating something quickly.
I’ve never actually passed out when this occurs as i have a snack or meal straight away- i feel like i need to. I feel weak and trembly and need to sit down and about 10-15 minutes after eating the symptoms go.
I'm guessing if i was borderline diabetic i would have worse problems?
I am on anti depressents and i know they have the ability to sometimes cause low blood pressure. I’m just worried as it can come on even if i haven’t missed a meal.
What’s the problem?
Answer:
It sounds like you may be the opposite. Hypoglycemic. Its when your body produces to much insulin and you need substance to elevate your blood Sugars. A easy blood test is needed.
Answer:
There's not enough information. You could have low blood sugar, but if so, it's not necessarily caused by diabetes. It could also be something else entirely, like anemia (that's common in young ladies) or a handful of other problems.
You should talk to a doctor to get to the bottom of this. Don't accept any solutions from the internet.
