how did it affect you

Answer:
Yes I've experienced it a few times. On each occasion it happened first thing in the morning - you know when you are still partly dreaming and partly awake. My eyes were open and I could see my bedroom in the morning light but I was totally unable to move - it was terrifying! I was actually trying to scream but obviously couldn't! It hasn't really affected me because I actually managed to wake myself up, realised what had happened and went back to sleep pretty much straight away. It was a really weird experience though.

Answer:
Yes it happens to me regularly and I hate it.

I will be paralysed from head to toe and lose the ability to speak yet I'm aware that I'm in bed and awake.

The first time I could feel something on my leg and I was desperately trying to move and scream but I couldn't. When I came round I didn't sleep all night, I was petrified.

Now I'm used to it but it's still a really unpleasant feeling.

Answer:
Yes I’ve..

I’ve experienced it on a couple of occasions. The worst was when I got stuck between a dream and reality. I was awake in that my body was in bed and I could feel the environment around me, however I could only see what I had been dreaming about. It was really disconcerting and pretty terrifying. It lasted a few minutes, but that was long enough.

Answer:
Yes I’ve experienced this phenomenon a couple of times. The first time it happened I panicked to be honest because I thought I was paralysed! Once I had done a bit of research though I began to experiment with it and try to acheive it again - which I did on a sunbed of all things! Anyway it was a positive experience once I'd overcome my fear, the experience of being so comfortable and at ease yet awake at the same time. It is difficult to acheive but worth the experince if you can do it. Hope this helps!

Answer:
It's freaky. I always think I'm dying, mainly because I'm half asleep and all disoriented because I just got out of a dream. But I think I'm dying and I’ll myself to open my eyes and sit up. A couple seconds of sheer panic and then i get a good laugh.
