I turned my head around too swiftly and now i have a pain in one side of my neck. I think i have a sprained neck. how long does it take to heal?
Answer:
It is apt to settle on its own in a couple of days and is NOT of course a reason to clutter up an A E department. Take some simple painkillers in the meantime.

I don't think you’ve sprained it, you've probably just pulled a muscle it happens to me all the time. Did you feel a burning sensation as well, if you did this should go within a couple of minutes. Unless your are in a lot of pain I wouldn't worry about it. If it's painful I would take a trip down to your A&E department.
