Is it normal?

Author: admin

My name is Sarah

I've noticed in the last few days that my spit is quite bubbly. I was spitting up before, but I’ve catarhh.

Is quite bubbly spit normal?? I’ve also felt my saliva tubes bringing up saliva into my mouth today, is that normal??

I’m 12 years old and I’m scared..

Answer:
Hi, If you have a chest infection already, then yes, it is not abnormal. Don't worry Sarah, sometimes when you are recovering from this illness, this will happen. Let your mother know what's happening (or whoever is looking after you), so they have the ability to have a look at it (not pleasant I know!), so they know you’re concerned and they can keep an eye on you. You sound ok to me, just a little worried.

Answer:
If you’ve an infection then it is normal.Talk to your parents and tell them about your excessive salivation.I would advise a checkup at the physicians but i believe you have nothing to worry about.

Answer:
It sounds to me like hypersalivation, the over production of saliva. Its nothing to worry about so please dont be scared! Using mouthwash and brushing your teeth about 2-3 times a day should have a drying effect =]
