my son gets them all the time and the Dr stated it was caused by a kind of irritation. and he prescribed some nasal cream to use when he`s had a bleed and that seems to halt the bleeds for a few weeks. we were told as long as not bleeding for more then few minutes then not to worry(Few= 2-3Min's) the cream we use is called NASEPTIN Nasal Cream

My sister got really regular nosebloods from age about 11 to 15, and then i guess grew out of them. At about 18 she found out she was anaemic, whether or not that had anything to do with them, I don't know, but I don't see how it could. I think with this kind of thing it's best just do get it checked out, as it might be normal for many people, but there may be complications involved, such as health issues from losing blood on a regular basis. Just go to your GP and get it checked out, it won't do any harm.

Answer:
how old are you?

I used to get them when I was hot or when the weather in the UK was hot. I was in my teens then now am 26 not had any in years (touch wood).

My mum told me that there is a treatment you can get but involved them putting something up your nose which I didn't like the sound of!

Answer:
Don't know, I used to get them every day so it was normal for me. More usual in summer maybe.

Best get a doc to check it out just in case. I'd hate to state yes then find out you died from bleeding too much from your nose!

Good luck

Answer:
Ruling out a clotting problem first such as low platelets, it is usually due to allergens and irritation of the sinus cavitiy and/or nares (inside your nose). If you get them regularly you really need to see your physician.

Answer:
Dude That problem fits in the SAD column.

SAD See A Physician.

Might be nothing, but could be hypertension.
