If I have more than, say, 3 drinks I'll sweat so much while I sleep that my bed will be wet and I’ll be drenched. Why is this?
Answer:
It is because there is more than likely a high level of salt in the alcohol and you sweat to get rid of the salt, although you will have a craving for something salty as you have to put it back in again (weird i know). But you need to get rid of all the bad toxins from the alcohol our of you body so that's your body's way of doing this by sweating!
I recommend you put a couple of towels underneath you so your bed sheets wont be as wet!
Hope this helps!
Answer:
Actually, alcohol consumption causes increased blood flow to the skin. This is why drunk people and alcoholics tend to have a flushed look. Because of this, your body thinks you're overheated, causing your sweat glands to activate.
Answer:
It's your body releasing all of the toxins in the alcohol. Sometimes you can actually smell the drink in your sweat.
Answer:
Your body is eliminating the toxins through sweat. Drink a pint of water before going to bed to help the elimination.
Answer:
Your liver is struggling to process the alcohol in your system
