why was there blood in my sick?

very sick last night - think i got bug

one of the times i was sick there was about a egg cup full of blood in it

what is the reason for this should i be worried

i feel ok now just bit ill but not really bad

hey there. sorry u r ill. student nurse here. please don't be alarmed by student ive already graduated just doing further education. anyways, the blood in your vomit could be due to burst blood vessels from muscles strain when you’re being sick which in this instance is nothing to worry about at all. However you need to consider how often you get sick and if its something you need to get checked as a lot of strain on the stomach can cause ulcers. Don'tt want to alarm you but perhaps keep an eye on it and if you’re still worried see your GP. it was probably from hurting a part of your body with your previous throwing up's probably just a scratch nothing to really worry about its just when you’re gipping it puts a lot of pressure on your stomach

if it becomes serious as in the next week you’ve blood in your spit(make sure to check btw gross but safe than sorry) if you’ve blood in your spit after a week then you should see a doctor
