was out tuesday nite and wed and i smoked not meant to smoke with my throat……it cant be the drink that would have gone by now ever since im very cold cant warm up then hot sweets and throat very sore behind the ears and ears very sore have tinnitus and its very loud….find it hard to eat with nausea like white puss behind where the tonsil is?? any ideas???

Call your doctor so he can swab your throat get a culture and get a lab result, in the mean time he will prescribe you antibiotics. Any puss is sign of infection. For the soreness gargle with warm water with salt. Good luck I hope you get superior.

You’ve Tonsillitis. Bacteria is the white coating and antibiotics will get rid of it. Bacteria can be passed from dirty glasses and bottles that you will have used when you were out drinking.
The hot sweats is another sign of bacterial infection.
take paracetamol x2 every 4 hours and ibuprofen x1 each four hours and this will keep your temp stable and reduce the sweats. You’ve pain behind your ears due to the inflammatory response of the infection , ibuprofen will reduce this swelling.
You need to see GP for an antibiotic called penicillin V.
Drink as much cold fluids as you can

You apparently have a throat infection, and it should be cultured to see if it is bacterial, in which case you need an antibiotic. If it is strep throat, and you don't get treatment, secondary infections can develop, and affect joints or even heart tissue.
