Hi, I smashed my elbow in peaces about 4/5 weeks yesterday, and I went back to the hospital this morning, and the physician stated cos the bone is knitting together it won't go back to the way it was and I will have very limited movement back in my elbow.

But i could end up getting Arthritis in my elbow, my question now is with going to have physio is that going to be more painful and is that going to begin off the arthritis in my elbow?

Answer:
Physio will be painful to start with but stick with it.

When you begin to feel sore, tell the physio, they’re there to help you, not inflict torture!

Physio will get easier as the weeks go by.

Answer:
Yes, you may feel more pain in the elbow to start with when going to the physical therapy sessions but when you begin to feel it injured even a little bit you can tell them not to work it so hard because it hurts. As the work is done to help the problem you should feel less pain.
