I've had scars for a long time and I'm very self conscious about them. I've tried covering them up but i'd rather just be rid of them. I've tried bio oil aswell but that didn't work. Does anyone know of anything to get rid of them, any advice would be truly appreciated, thanks!
Answer:
What kinda scars? Use some vitamin E pills. open the capsuls and use the liquid on them. Use mederma and lots of lotions for scarring.

I had major surgery almost 3 years ago. I'm a very self conscious person and did a ton of research because I didn't want to be left with terrible scars… I ended up finding a product called 'Scargo' from Home Health. It's an oil. I found it at my local organic/ health food store.
I would advise checking out some of the plastic surgery forums on the web. There is a lot of good info on them, as any procedure will leave behind scars.
I’ve to say, I've seen a lot of surgical pictures and my scars are nothing compared to many. That’s saying a LOT because I tend to scar worse than most.
Hope this helps…

Im not sure if you can get these on prescription but u can get scar patches, there’s loads on the web about them…you put them over the scar/scars for a period of time (depending on witch type you’re using) and they fade really deep scars and remove others… maybe you should ask your physician about what you can get on the nhs?
Answer:
There are plasters available in Boots; they’re in a box like normal plasters but you cover the scar with them and in time they are meant to heal. I haven't tried them personally but I know they’re quite costly.

I've used Mederma, seemed to help, I think I bought at Walmart. Now, my sis swears by vitamin E oil, she purchases the vitamin E capsules and breaks them open.
Answer:
Try Merdema for scars. It is available at walmart and it says it help with older scars as well. Be sure to follow directions.
