loss and change, power and how it can be used and abused

Answer:
This equates to the loss the client feels when they may feel that have power taken from them, having to adapt to the new situation which surrounds them now as opposed to what they have been used to, being away from family etc.

abuse of power stems from the power the support worker/key worker/care assistant t might display. ie; going where it suits the support worker rather than the client. support worker influencing the client to a service /facility that they think might benefit the client , rather than what the actual client wants.Influencing decisions made by the client.

Your assessor should be your first line of support if you are having problems understanding the knowledge
