I have never had this problem before and dont know how it started but all of a sudden i am getting scared of a night time-as soon as darkness falls im hearing weird noises that scare me so much im staying awake until its light again which as you can envision is turning me into a wreck as its been going on weeks now. Like I state this has never happened before-im 28 and generally not scared of much. My doc was a waste of space suggested sleeping pills that would make me drowsy throughtout the day…please help guys this is starting to destroy me slowly

Answer:
I sometimes turn on a fan to help me sleep. The white noise of the motor helps. You might also try melatonin which is sold in the dietary supplement section of your grocery store. I had the same problem with sleeping pills you have, but melatonin doesn't make me feel that way.

Answer:
Try the melatonin. It does work. You can also try Valerian which you can but at Walmart. It is a herbal sedative. Another natural sedative is calcium. Which is why they always say to drink warm milk before bedtime. Make sure you buy calcium with vitamin D as this absorbs the calcium.
If all else fails take some Benadryl, even though this will make you sleepy the next day so don't over do it.
Try exercising and wearing your body out before bedtime. Maybe you just arent tired enough before bedtime.

Answer:
Perhaps you can find some useful information in a web search for insomnia + “natural remedies”.

Answer:
Have u thought of anything that may have triggered this off at all. Did u have a sudden fright by something that happened 2 u. I f u can figure this out ur problem might get solved.

Answer:
try those all natural sleeping tablets.go to the pharmacy and ask them if they have any recomendations for you.

Answer:
Yea, I also use melatonin. Its ok because its all natural and made of herbs and tastes like spearmint
