strains and pulls cant really be healed any quicker than at natural rate. but you can use painkillers and treatment to help the pain levels and stop it being a hinderence.
try gentle massage, or if thats to much, oils and soothing creams.
apart from that, just rest up, and when youve got some movement back, try some gentle stretching, but nothing too vigorous!
