i have got a blood blister on my toe should i put a plaster on it or what but its really hurting and i gotta get it right cos i do martial arts pls help i dunno wat to do ????

Answer:
Leave it alone, whilst the blister is intact it is sterile, keep it clean with a sterile dressing, you could, if you wish, bathe it first in a solution of salt water (usually 1 tablespoon of salt to a pint of water, boiling the water first and then allowing it to cool), then dress it, if it is still painful after a day or so, see your G.P., practice nurse and a podiatrist, but don't burst the blister.

Answer:
bite it

Answer:
hmm i had one to i poped it but, its bad to do this cause it could get infected but try it. hold the bleeding and the start to dress it with antiseptic cream and band aids.

Answer:
i have had one on my hand before and it hurts like heck.

what i did was i put vitaminC;this little orange medicine thing on the blister and put something on it to cover it; like a sock.

then every day you should do that it heels quickly.(its OK if you forget to put the vitamins on it once in a while)

otherwise my sister said that you should pop it with a needle or nail clippers but i was too chicken to do that.Tell me if it works!

Answer:
DON'T POP IT it will hurt 50% more than it duz now put ice on it. ICE HELPS EVERY THING

Answer:
you need to get a clean needle, then wipe it with alcohol, surgical spirit or something like that.

Then insert the needle along the flat surface of the skin into the blister, then withdraw the needle.

Repeat on the opposite side. You will find that when you insert the needle the 2nd time, the blood, if still non-congealed will ooze out. The apply pressure over the roof of the blister with clean gauze/towel to express all the gunge. When all the gunge is out, put a plaster or dry adherent dressing over the top. Do not, ever burst the roof of the blister and peel it off.
