my legs are in pain, i did a lot of sport yesterday, 2 hrs basketball and tennis and then a tiny bit of cycling in the afternoon. please tell me how to cease this leg pain!!
Answer:
I am very active also (walking dogs, not sports) and find that I get terrible leg pain when I get dehydrated.
Make sure you drink water BEFORE and during all this exercise. Potassium helps too. A glass of orange juice usually hooks me right up.
If your leg pain continues make sure you see a sports medicine specialist.
Answer:
It sounds like you’ve shin splints. If the pain is mostly in your lower leg, don't apply heat as that will probably aggravate it. Try doing a lot of stretching and take some ibuprofen like advil to relieve the pain and inflammation. Here's a link that describes what I'm speaking about…http://www.healthscout.com/ency/68/213/m…
If it is cramping in the muscles then stretch and eat bananas. In the future you should always stretch and warm up a little before you do so much exercise or it will happen again.
Answer:
If you're not used to exercise, you’ll get pain for a while.Once you've been doing exercise regularly, you shouldn't get pain and you will feel a lot fitter and have much more energy.
Answer:
ICY-HOT! Works beautifully.
Answer:
Have a warm bath and massage the muscles to help them rest.
