some times i hear clicking even when just moving my leg. there is no true pain and i am not over weight .i take a reasonably healthy diet and take a fair amount of exercise.its very annoying

As a lifelong knee suferer it sounds like a cartlidge problem, or could be the begin of osteoarthritis. I saw an orthopaedic surgeon last week who said that knee arthritis starts in your 30s.. I would get it checked out to see if you need a rest from the exercise or some sort of physio.

you could have an ACL tear.. its a ligament in your knee and controls the stability of your leg and also controls the range of motion(how far your knee can bend or straighten) either that or your just cracking it like you crack your fingers.. but if it happens everytime.. thats something. you should go see a doctor
