Answer:
I think the best thing to do would be to go and see your doctor, you need proffesional help - and i mean that in the nicest possible way.

Answer:
Go to hospital and get it stitched

Answer:
if you dont cut youself it wont bleed …………..dohhhhhhhhhhhh

Answer:
Go to the doctor and get help…not for the cuts, but for the self harming!

Answer:
we are not here to tell you what is best to cut yourself with so why would you ask that? you obviously need some help so please see a doc before anything really bad happens

Answer:
im not willing to answer that question but i do think u need to go to your docotrs and tell them that u r self harming and need help , it can go roundschools for it to be a cool thing to do but its not , it may be cool at the time to think about it but if u think of when u r older and have children and they ask u how u got lines all the way down your arms , how do u explain that one?

please go to the doctors

please go to the link and read about help u can get

Answer:
okaaayy .. ? soo i dont wana answer this just to be rude ? buut ummm.. wat are you doing that for ? its reallly not cooool sweetie .. ? if you want attention theres other ways , if ur sad theres people always there to get outta ur depression.. hurting urslef insnt the answer . if you dont wana bleed , dont cut . youl get out of this stage someday and reilize you just need some growing up . cyah

Answer:
yes, you do need help, and i STRONGLY urge you to get it.

are you depressed or do you just cut to be emo (because you're display name is "emos rock")?

the best thing to stop the bleeding would be to apply pressure, but ideally the best thing to stop the bleeding would be to stop the cutting. i do not know what ist the best thing to use to cut yourself, because i do not cut myself. but i don't think you should be cutting yourself. please seek professional help. cutting is NOT healthy. as you said, each time you cut yourself it is getting deeper and deeper, and the bleeding is going on for a longer time. soon, it could come to a point where the bleeding isn't stopping, and you pass out, and you could become seriously injured. i know i don't know you or why you cut, but i am asking you to PLEASE get help because cutting is not healthy and there are better ways to express sadness and anger. if you do not want to seek professional help, at least tell someone you can trust who can help you, or try doing things that get you the same feeling of cutting, like snapping a rubber band against your wrist.

GOOD LUCK

Why don't you ask advice of Dr. Chris Steele, the YA Knowledge Partner doc?

A medical person is much better to ask about stopping the bleeding and anything else which is bothering you.

Answer:
What is happening in your life that you can suddenly do a 'U' turn… what about Derek, how does he feel ?

How would he feel knowing that someone like yourself, someone he obviously cares deeply about, is doing this 'cutting thing' to yourself ?

What you're doing is 'very real' and will have a bad influence on completing your course in 'Health and Social Care', not to mention having a devastating effect on your loved ones, should anything serious happen to you.

You're obviously a bright, intelligent girl, with a great career ahead of you, don't ruin it, and if you must, then 'self harm' is not the answer, neither is self pity or delusion.

You either want to make something of your life or not, it's up to you.

Answer:
You need help. See your doc and tell him all about what you've been doing and things will get better.

Answer:
are you serious or just taking the p**s, if serious see a GP straight away.

Answer:
So everyone is posting up religious rubbish at the moment. I want to try and be helpful

I don't know if you are in the UK or USA so I don't know how much this will help.

I know that salt will increase the risk of scarring.

I have heard that "cutters" can get scalpals and bandages for free from clinics which are safer for you to use and reduce the risk of infection. This is a way that your health can be helped even if it doesnt stop you doing it.

I know you say that you have been doing it for the past 6 years, have you ever been to your GP or asked anyone for help? I think you need to get to the bottom of why you are doing this.

Do be careful as you don't want to cut any major arteries and end up bleeding out. You also don't want to get any nasty infections.

Hope this helps a bit.

Answer:
Were not going to tel what to cut your self with you silly girl!

Your scab bled coz you picked it off it wont just fall off!

Your cuts are getting deeper and deeper coz your doing it nothing else.

Dont put salt on an open wound otherwise it will sting duh.

you need to get professional help rather than coming on here asking what to do.

A couple of weeks ago i fell over playing netball and the first aid officer mixed bicarb and sterilizing water it was great! it stung but got all the bad stuff up to the surface and i felt better than ever,She still put a dressing on to keep it clean though. Don't ever cut you self, my best mate told me it leads to suicide.

Answer:
I used to cut myself to, the best thing I found was the salt method. When I spoke to someone in confidence they suggested a counsellor to find out why I Did it. I went under duress but it did actually help, I was about 15 at the time and was cutting for about 8years, until I found a way of deal ling with thing. I say chin up and go find someone you trust and talk things though, and keep the cuts covered so you can't pick at them. 'You can do it'!!!!
